Great video, tough girls, tough bikes.
-
Thanks for the virus.
-
It drops onto my computer like a standard video at Vimeo, but this work computer is too slow to watch video on, so I'll watch it at home later.
-
Thank you for posting. ;-T

Thanks for the virus.
Thanks for the warning. Yesterday I clicked on someone's tiny photo to see if I could make it bigger and all the alarms went off . . . A good reminder as to why I don't like clicking on links.
-
those girls have some real "STONES"!
-
Looks like great fun!
-
very cool, thanks for the post. No virus (Apple).
-
I'm sorry you pick up a Virus. I'ts the Vimo site which have used for years.
-
watching it now on a PC. No hint of a virus
-
I didn't get the virus either (PC). Nice video.
-
Lovely! Wonderful video. Thanks for posting.

I clicked on it and the video began. In about 10 seconds the screen went black and quiet. It did not respond to any keys.
I held down the emergency shutdown until I thought it had effect. It did not start back up. I held down about 30 seconds then waited and started it back up. As soon as it came back up, the video was there again without me clicking on anything. I played for about 3 seconds and went black and silent again.
Again I held down on the emergency shut down. This time when I restarted it I immediately dumped the memory and cookies. Then shut down and restarted. It seems normal now but I'm not going to click on that video again.

Hey RK, do they have virus' that work randomly like that?
-
What a great adventure! I just watched all three episodes. Well done, ladies!
-
we need a separate forum to discuss imaginary computer viruses
-
^ Especialy when we could be discussing a great motorcycle adventure and beautiful French women...

Hey RK, do they have virus' that work randomly like that?
Sure. Depending on things like your version of java, java scripts on the computer they can take advantage of, applications with security weaknesses, existing Trojans they can make calls to, etc. You can pick up part of the virus in June from one website, and the catalyst in October in and email. The open door can be something as otherwise innocuous as out-of-date silverlight or flash player. The frustrating part is that it can also be the update to silverlight or flash player that has a virus. Roll the right combination and you win.
But they're right -- this topic is about 5 girls on bikes, not the viruses encountered trying to play their video.

If I remember correctly you are running a MacBook. I don't think it was a virus but your flashlight trying/needing to update. There was an update a few days back now.

No virus problems for me. I would have liked the video better if there was less time spent on their "thoughts" and chit-chat and more time (100%) spent on the bikes, roads and scenery. There are much better sites to visit if I want to look at girls. ~;
I must say I do have an urge to get a Royal Enfield. Checked CL and there are some good deals on them.........

Just finished the third installment, Holy Moly what a trip. The last third, no way I would do that knowing what I know now. Best to go in blind and dumb.
Full marks to them. :bow

Talking about that - check out "All the gear, no idea" - a story of an English lass' Bullet trip around India worth the few dollars for the read.

Vimeo sucks. I sought out the videos on Youtube. Unfortunately only parts 1 and 2 are there. Much easier to watch there with much less buffering.
Here is the link to part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_T7lbKnSlz4 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_T7lbKnSlz4)

It all played fine for me, equipment and time of day you watch may be a factor.
Okay, it looks as though Royal Enfield provided the bikes, so that's cool. But it would have been a hellish trip on ruggedized AT bikes, so my hat's off to all involved.
But the big question really is - where does one find 5 hot girls, let alone them being French, to do this ? One or two I can believe, but I can't source that many hot riding girls crazy enough to do that dressed for the streets of Paris without some help.
-
Crazy world. Go lookin' for them and you'll never find them. But there you go, they pop up all on their own. Go figure.
-
Wow. They're nuts. Looks fun tho.

Since the virus part of the discussion lingers -- let me clarify that the virus was not successful. My antivirus clamped on it and sent up an alarm saying it had caught one of the bastids and how did I want to punish it. I pulled off it's wings and put it in a jar of smoke and acetone until three minutes after it stopped moving. :wife:
