So what would a great running motor 14K mile, be worth? Trans? Rolling Frame with Title? Nice original red tins and tupperware? Good stock seat as well as custom seat?
I tried selling it hear 3 or 4 times last year without success; maybe the pieces are worth more than the whole?

Hello!

I'd say the short answer is yes, parting it out will probably get you more $$. The individual parts are worth more than the sum of the parts in my estimation. Sad but true. Most Lario guys want or need parts and most non-Lario folks don't want a hand grenade. I don't think of it as a disservice to supply good parts that are needed for existing larios.
Best of luck.

I'd buy some (maybe a lot of) stuff and use my parts for spares.
Thinly disguised bump..

Sent your PM to all of my friends for distribution. It would be a crying shame to part it out. Worst case - I might have to buy it myself, even though I really don't need another bike. Anybody coming east towards Maryland with room for a Lario?
-
Offcamber, I told someone about your bike today when he was picking up a used Norge he purchased at the shop, last year he bought the little red Breca. He was very interested when I showed him pictures and asked for your number. He always pays in cash and a good guy so I hope it works out for the both of ya!

Thanks Charlie, Craig.
I'd really hate to break the Lario up. If anyone else is interested, let me know via email or PM.
Interestingly enough, the Lola race car project is somewhat similar. Sum of the pieces probably worth far more than the car put together. I'm cursed...

Charlie, the first part of May I'll be headed to Deals Gap for the 2-atroke street bike meet, I might be able to take it there and arrange transport north up to your area. If your serious I'd love to see it end up in your hands.

I'm "out of the running" for it. Planning to replace my rusty '93 Eurovan "shop truck" with a Dodge Sprinter and that will suck up most of my "surplus" $$.

So, what is a Lario worth?
I like smallblocks.
-
Sorry if I missed it, where is this bike located?
-
Located in south eastern Illinois, near Terre Haute Indianna

Would the same thing apply to a Convert? Could I get at least as much for parting it out as trying to sell it?
