Mate of mine just got a killer deal on this

14.5K including all taxes etc AND six months rego thrown in. He also got a great deal on luggage. No way I could match it unfortunately.

He has flown me up to do the first service and re-map it though. That was fun. It had a Bosch ABS pump and the map Mark sent had correction factors for the Conti. Anything over walking pace and it said it was doing 240kph :D

All fixed now!

They are a lovely bike. He and I are planning a lap of Oz in the next couple of years.

My son attended the graduate program in engineering at University of Queensland.  He loved the place, traveled all over Australia.

You forgot mention "horribly humid, rains a lot, fire ant and cane toad riddled, occasional cyclone" sunny, sunny, Queensland.  :D

I hope not! Even at 240kph I think it would have trouble getting down to Maleney an back to Townsville in an afternoon! :D
