They're wonderful sporty motorcycles.
My 1996 Sport 1100 is the one bike that's remained in the stable over the past 18-years.
Eight others have come and gone during that time.

good deal, more comfortable than you would think.

This. I've had three, both carb and injected models, they are terrific machines. Put many 300+ miles in a day on them.
Its just my opinion, but I believe these are woefully undervalued currently. They were built and imported in very small numbers, destined to go up in price.

Excluding the bag conundrum - given the hips and the exhaust - they make great sport-tourers. The right tank bag and alternative "luggage" and mine has been a satisfying, all day-several days, option.
Then, however, I think my '82 Katana is the bee's knees for long distance as well.
Just seems right to cover distance in a mean lean rather than a soul and spine crushing slouch.
Our man in the OP sure does know the value of quality photographic representation... Kudos to him for raising the bar in that regard.

Tempting ;D
How hard would it be to find a stock air box for it? I don't like the exposed air filters. I like my air filters protected from the inevitable rain that I'd eventually get stuck in.

There are a couple on ebay now. I've kept mine on, many people do not. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=motoguzzi+sport+1100&_from=R40&_osacat=10063&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xmotoguzzi+sport+1100+airbox.TRS0&_nkw=motoguzzi+sport+1100+airbox&_sacat=10063

Well, that one didn't last long, SOLD sticker on it already. Great photos, which actually showed some of the warts. I wish the new owner LOTS of unadulterated joy.
