Title: 2012 Norge white pannier damage
Post by: Far star on April 17, 2015, 11:44:01 AM
I buggered the lower half of the right one, anyone painted these before? What kind of paint did you use, I'm concerned  about orange peeling. I'd like to paint the lower half each side with the Italian flag...the graphics/decal shop here just laughed, helpful guys that they are. A new one is 1000 bucks Canadian, Guzzi doesn't sell just the cover you have to buy the whole pannier. Suggestions? Experiences? (other than don't let the bike fall over)

Aside from painting the flag you're talking about, white LineX or white Rhino Liner. I had the side bags of my Trophy done in black, the paint color was green.

The lower parts of the side bags seem to catch rocks or whatever so this worked out fine.

Use the smoother version of the coatings and it won't look like the inside of a truck bed.
