Post by: motox31x on April 17, 2015, 09:45:18 PM
I am restoring a 06 Breva 750 and I am trying to find the windshield in the picture below I am not sure if it is a factory windshield or an aftermarket part. Can someone please point me in the right direction I would appreciate it very much.

That came stock on the original `04 750 Breva.  The newer versions didn't come with it.  As far as weather protection is was better than nothing but that's about it.  :)

:+1 on that.  Mine is the '03, and I think the photo you have is the "official" launch photo.  Not sure what year the windshield was dropped.  Does minimise the wind force on the chest but the wind still hits at face height.

The Dart Flyscreen is a good option for the Breva, and it is still available since it also fits the V7.

I have a clear version of that screen in my garage. I will look and see where I got it from. It was a recent purchase, and I think they had more in stock.

Thanks for the info. Didn't think it would help much with the wind force just kinda like the looks of it more than anything to be completely honest.

I have an 05 Breva i bought new with that fly screen.  I love it.  I put on a larger windscreen and it threw me around as if I had a sail on the bike, so I went back to the Fly screen or bikini screen as some call it.  I am 5 feet 8 inches and the wind gets deflected and just hits the top of my helmet.  I am a thinking they put these bikes in a wind tunnel to test the fly screen they designed for the bike and molded it to the best aerodynamic performance possible.  I think it performs admirably.  I wouldn't trade it for nothing.  It's designed to go with the bike and I think it looks cool!
