I picked up the newest member of the family yesterday. After passing on an 03' hydro w/o recalls, I found this guy ~30 min from the house and was able to work out a reasonable deal on it!

Looks good, John. How many miles on it?

Nice bike and congratulations, I believe I saw that bike on Decatur Craigslist. I bought my 02 Cali Special Sport from a guy in Cullman a couple of years ago. I live over close to Ft Payne on Lookout Mountain and if you get over this way shoot me a PM.

It has right at 14k miles on it.
Did you buy the 02' from Andrew Seigenthaler?
-
Boy, nice and clean, along with low mileage. I'm seeing a custom throttle body cover. :)

Congrats on a beauty! I absolutely love mine and believe it to be the best do-it-all bike I've ever encountered. All-day comfortable, reliable, makes all the right sounds, satisfyingly quick and handles far better than it looks like it should have the right to. She's just perfect and could be the only motorcycle I'd ever need.
Something to consider: I changed out my stock handlebars for the lower, straighter ones found on the Jackal and it not only made for a more comfortable riding position, especially for my arms/wrists, but it also allowed for better leverage on the bars in the tight and twisty stuff, making it feel like a better handling machine and giving me a more direct feel of what the front end was doing.

Beautiful bike and with LOW miles. Good find. I like those throttle body covers. Let us know how it rides.

Yes I bought the 02 from Andrew.

Take it easy, its not broken in yet... ;-T

Probly one of the most reliable machines , easy to maintain . Good choice!

If you have rough old hands like I do, then you'll probably need to replace the hand grips at 110K. JU felt sorry for me and gave me a new pair ;-T.
Enjoy, See page 15 of visitors pics

@Menzies, Andres is my pastor. He's the one that gave me the Guzzi bug!
I'm having a hard time getting the Corbin bolt holes to line up.
Have any of you encountered this or have any suggestions on getting it to bolt up?

No help on your Corbin question but that is a very nice EV. Welcome to Guzzidom! I'm just down the road in Pinson. There are a number of Guzzi riders in AL, we should have an Alabama get together at some point.....
