I do a lot of riding, not as much as some but more than others. Trying to get a comfortable seat can be time consuming and costly. Don't misunderstand a good seat Is a must. How ever I have added to my arsenal for long riding. I have gotten me a pair of "MOTOSKIVEES". I and with a couple days of riding I do like. I took some familiar rides and I can feel the difference. I do admit they fell like a full diaper when walking but my but sure likes them. I got the adventure skivees. they Have sport, adventure , and for the cruiser with gel pad in a specific place for the bike /ride. Can't wait for the National get some real miles on them. Pickle.

I am sure htye are a fine product, and the "diaper feel" is a great temptation.
But I refuse to consider "adventure skivees". Period.

I've used lycra bicycle riding shorts for many years. They're probably about the same thing with the padding in the sitting area. They're great for bicycling (actually a necessity) and not too bad for motorcycling (probably give you an additional 100 miles/day of comfortable riding).

I used MotoSkivees on a trip last fall and they worked great. Easy to wash at night and dry by following day (I took 2 pairs). They felt "normal" after a few minutes and they did seem to make a difference. Of course I had a Russell seat too...

I also have a pair that I use sometimes. They definitely work as advertised.

Well, the Full Diaper comment caught my attention, since I regularly care for my 1-1/2 and 3-year-old granddaughters and it's a timely and topical subject.
I have a wonderful Russell seat on my Guzzi, and I have great semi-boxer "Ex Officio" underwear that is the ONLY kind I ever wear any more, it's so comfortable.
HOWEVER, on a 350 mile ride Saturday (the first of the season), I was wearing cotton Columbia pants which are normally very comfortable, but they kept riding up on me and putting my wedding tackle in a tight bind, where I would have to stand up on the pegs and "shake it down" every once in a while, which is not always comfortable or convenient.
Jeans do the same thing very often ... so I got to wondering ....
You see these things on old movies and such, and sometimes on moto-police officers overseass. Langlitz still sells them.
Has anyone ever worn these? I'd never suspect anyone of lying, but do you have a PICTURE of yourself wearing these? I can understand if you want to leave all that buried in the past ... but I would actually spring for a pair of these if they solved the "binding" problem on a long trip for good and all.

Problem w cycling shorts is the padding or chamois only covers the contact area of s bicycle seat. Rowing shorts such as from Regatta Sports has wider sitting area pad

That is one reason I never wear jeans. Leathers are so much more comfortable. I also use underwire from LD Comfort. They don't ride up and don't have seems in the wrong place.

Have you tried the Diamond Gussett jeans? They are cut a bit different in that area.
