Just got to my place in eastern Plumas County after a 310 mile ride from Eureka. As many are aware, the more one rides a Norge the more affection one feels for it. Yes, the bonding is complete.
Anyway, on my chill day in Eureka I rode the bumpy Mattole Road down to the Lost Coast. It was not fogged in and the scenery was spectacular. Near the sea in this remote spot I then see a Microsoft/Bing camera car doing street view, WTF? Then 3 more on the way home, another shooting the cabins around Lassen Park. I do not like it one bit.
BTW 310 mile of slab is one thing. 310 miles of which 230 is technically challenging is another ball of wax. I am beat.
