Title: New Guzzi owner
Post by: Buckturgidson on April 20, 2015, 07:40:13 PM
Maybe the Gods had a hand in this. Saturday a small gathering of eagles was taking place, the Nor Cal Guzzista out for a 3 day ride in Humboldt County. The same day a gorgeous 1200 Sport miraculously appeared on Reno CL. My closest friend in town quickly swooped in, and now the immaculate red example is his first Guzzi. In a way it is mine, we trade bikes so I will swap my S2R for the big block and get to enjoy it too.

Maybe you're just "used to" your Ducati?   I'd swap a ride on any of my Guzzis for a ride on an S2R any day!

Sounds like a good deal both ways ....

Yeah despite how nice guzzis are to ride, ducatis are a whole other experience...

I have not seen it, been out of town. It does not have a scratch on it, has red Norge bags and a carbon fiber pipe. I assume the pipe is not stock, he says it sounds great. Anyone know about the pipe?

The stock 12S exhaust is "carbon-like" - it's SS with some carbon fiber patterned covering.
