Title: Jackal sport windshield?
Post by: dogjaw on April 24, 2015, 09:32:56 PM
Anybody try one? I have the tall, but I'm a short guy, and the top of the windshield is exactly at eye level... less is more, sometimes.

It's pretty easy to cut the windshield if it is too tall. Put some masking tape over the area you want to cut and go at it. I used a cut off wheel, but there's probably something better. Then just sand the cut edge and you'll be good to go.

Actually there is nothing better than a high speed cut-off wheel (experience with airplane canopies).  The wheel will melt the plastic in the cut that can then be sanded, DON'T use a saw, it can generate cracks and bye bye windshield.

I would go with Mikes take offs at MPH, I have had two of the sport screens and they are my favorites on Cali's
