Title: Today's Moto GP
Post by: LowRyter on May 03, 2015, 11:13:51 AM
Not a real exciting race but it tightens the standings and MM showed lots of grit.

My gripe, what was with the Fox video feed?  Not quite HD.

Probably the least exciting race in awhile but not all can be great I suppose.  Biggest surprise is how Lorenzo came back to form after what seems a very poor last season and start to this one.  I didn't notice the feed quality while watching, it seemed fine to me.  I have DirecTV for my provider.

the season will be good if the Yamaha's can keep MM in check.. 3 contenders will be fun to watch instead of MM running away from everyone.

Glad to see Lorenzo finally win another race....but when is the next World Superbike Race?  ;D   I don't like having to slap myself to stay awake.

Nice to see some competition in the standings.

Wonder what happened to the Ducatis?

Iannone hit the rain map setting while waiting for the start and could not get out of it, and Dovi ran off the track on lap 2. What is surprising is how well  Suzuki is doing on their first year back to MotoGP. Compared  to Aprilia which doesn't seem to have a clue.

Just watched all 3 races for a second time after watching live last night for us here in Oz.

The rain map Iannone comment is really interesting - he is a future champ IMO.
I will watch/read to see if there is more info on that.

Dovi - yeah he screwed up for some reason, but how good was where he finished after he slipped to last or so?

Suzuki - brilliant.  Espargaro to take Pedrosa's Honda when he may use the latest damage as a face saving exit from racing?
Really like Dani, but always the bridesmaid which is unfortunate as he is a great rider.

Aprilia - Bautista went quite well.  Marco must be devastated with his performance, but then he always has Manu to show who is on top.  Well, maybe after getting out the step ladder ;D

Aprilia wasn't going to start GP racing until next year and are using this year to decide what to race next year, like Ducati did last year before they came out with their new bike this year.   Right now it's work in progress for aprilia.

I noticed that she was missing from Marco's pits this last year in WSBK. I wonder if she was banned or if they had gone their separate ways.

Maybe the fact she's had a child has something to do with why she's not in the pits now.  ;)

In todays world, the father isn't just a by-stander.  It's no longer killing time in the waiting room.  It's a brave new world out there!   ;D
