Post by: ncguzzi on May 03, 2015, 07:33:04 PM
I'm going to Cali. from Co. Will truck bike to Co. and if anyone wants to join me we'll put their bike on a trailer. Leave truck and trailer in Gunnison Co and head out to Cali. from there , Figure on 3 weeks in Cali. I'll be camping most of the time so prospective company must be self sufficient. Interested parties please call 919-967-7637.  Leaving from NC.

Regards
Mark Tenney

Welcome Aboard!

Best family on the net, period.  You'll want to consider signing up with MGNOC:

http://www.mgnoc.com (http://www.mgnoc.com)

Great articles, and access to a nationwide contact list of great Guzzi folks willing to lend a hand or even just safe camping/lodging; we even have an App for it now!

Sounds like great trip, enjoy & keep us posted on how you're doing along the way!!  And we simp!y love pictures 😁.  :pop

Mark's sort of like already done that, considering that he's been the MGNOC State Rep for North Carolina for the last 15 or 20 years ..... !

So this'll be a good trip, I'm sure!

Ahh, and I don't know him,  nor he me.

You try & try, and sometimes wonder why...must say the zero count/new goose stats got the better of my generally helpful person

I'll make it a point to visit his rally next year!

It's often hard for me to process the fact that there are many dedicated, hard-riding, high-mileage, rally-attending Guzzi riders that have never even heard of WildGuzzi ....

.... but don't let anything stop you from being helpful!!   ;-T

Lannis,

Thanks....all of my Guzzi time is in New England, and they're a hard riding, rally attending, great bunch of folks....as are all of you here.  I'm coming g back from a 4 year dry spell from Kodiak Alaska.  Alas, sold myJackal due that little side trip.  June is shaping as a busy month, and had hoped I'd be able to attend Meadows of Dan, after the National.....but that might be too much of a stretch for me this year, time wise.  So, am eyeballing next year.

Very best regards, and hope to shake your hand some day and do a few miles down the road with you and many others here.

Take good care!

Lee

I've known and ridden with Mark almost since 91 when I bought my first Guzzi.
Mark is an accomplish and fast rider. So if you are considering going with him expect spirited and fast riding. Not that I do not like Mark when I have travelled with him and his wife. But I am always a distant 3rd. Mark is a good rider  for sure but I do not ride beyond my comfort zone.
Have a good trip Mark and hope you find a good partner.

Mark,
I will be at my getaway in Eastern Plumas County 5/21-5/25. There are some epic roads nearby and a marvelous Frank Lloyd Wright building a mile or so down the road at Nakoma Resort. Let me know if you are in the area. Buck.

Thinly disguised bump.
Hanging out with Mark and riding in the mountains for 3 weeks?? It'd be the trip of a lifetime. I *really* wish I could do it. He's a good guy and a good rider. You'd probably even stay out of jail..  ~; ;D
