I am retired so I'll do it instead. You just pay the fuel and help with chow. Hotels are on me. Just please don't let it be a Honda QA50.

Haul Bikes, twice, with nothing but praise and glowing recommendation.
Although some here may have had different experiences, I would go with them again in a heartbeat. ;-T

MI shipped my v7 with:

Reasonable price, delivered when promised and no damage.

this guy didn't have a clue and would have broke the SS if I hadn't caught him strapping it down.. took hours too.

I recently used Haulbikes to move two bikes from Seattle to Greensboro, NC. It did take a few weeks for the bikes to get here due to the way they route the trucks but I would use them again without hesitation. They have top notch equipment, the driver was totally professional and a bike guy from birth, and the price includes $15,000 insurance per bike.

arveno- I had my LeMans shipped from Houston over to Fl. in January using Keyboard Shipping out of Kentucky. The price quoted was a flat fee, door to door, no dropping it off at a transport warehouse, and no extra fuel charge or handling fees. And the Bike was insured for $20,000.00 with zero deductible. The bike was strapped down to a metal framed dolly and once inside, secured to the floor of the trailer. I couldn't be happier with the service I received with them.

Here's another glowing testimonial for haulbikes. I've used them twice (V7 Cafe Classic and RD350). Highly recommended.

I shipped my Vespa from NYC to LA for roughly $450 using uship.com. Dude showed up with a van and a trailer full of other bikes. Everything seemed legit and my bike made it to LA just fine.

You might consider Foytt International in the LA area. I've used them 4 or 5 times with excellent service. I'll provide you contact info if you are interested.

I can highly recommend Forward Air. Yes, they have locations in Los Angeles and New York.
They are set up for motorcycle shipping with containers which allow tie downs.
