It seems we, V7 riders, have limited options for OEM replacement tires. Pirelli Sport Demon, Bridgestone BT-45, Metzler Lasertech .... and that about covers it.
Has anyone compiled a list of "fits"? Conti Go? Dunlop StreetSmart, any adventure tires.... etcetera.
Seems the scrambler craze folks are mounting rubber that I've never considered. Am I missing opportunities?

Continental has a radial that will fit, the Conti Classic Attack. I would love to fit a set of Avon Distanzia tires, but none in the proper size.

Well, at least here in Germany the tyres have to be in the correct dimensions (100/90-18, 130/80-17). The Classic Attack is exactly the tyre I am waiting for, as it is a radial and I am not fully convinced of the Pirelli. But up to now the proper dimensions are not available (Continental told me they are planning more different dimensions, but...). The available dimensions can be found here: http://www.conti-bike.co.uk/conticlassicattack/ .
The alternative for me up to now will be the Dunlop Street Smart as it seems to shine where the Pirelli lacks (cold, wet).
For those who can read the german text here is a test report of the Dunlop: http://www.1000ps.de/testbericht-2357546-dunlop-streetsmart

I went with Michelin Pilot Activ. Very sticky & predicted longer life vs the original Pirelli Sport Demons. I love them so far...
