Who would buy a New Rusty bike? Just buy a Racer and leave it outside to rust.
-
Yeah and they could have at least taken a hammer and beat some dents all around it.
-
Novelty. Its not real rust. Next to a bunch of pristine stock units it is gonna standout.
And if it doesnt look like typical common day to day piece of junk with rusted and dented and misaligned parts, it will be scrutinized (admired*) for a lot longer.

* Hmm, I could buy that cheap, give it a paint job and sell it for a million...." ;)

What is it with wrapping the pipes?
A hipster thing?

I saw this bike at the weekend.
It looked awful when sitting in amongst lots of really very pretty shed built and builder built bikes at The Bike Shed show in London.
The tank and rusty headight were just trying too hard, to be honest I thought it was an embarrassing effort from Corsa (the dealers) trying to fit into a growing scene.
Really really awful.
Check the web for photos from The Bike Shed and you'll see some cool looking bikes, a fair few cool Guzzis - both on show and in the parking areas

What's next, paying big money for new jeans that have holes in them already?

"Patina"...
