In putting new sneakers on the '09 Stelvio and I discovered that I need front wheel bearings, unless the new style bearing is one that the inner race does not spin... :o
The axle came out hard also, found it dry and slightly corroded. Odd too as I bought the Stelvio from Phoenix which is very dry and the seller told me that he bought it from a fellow in Colorado. Someone did not do a great job of protecting that front wheel. I will though... ;)
So, couple of questions...
1. - I cannot find a part number for the bearings. Anyone here have that info...?
2. - In the splendid list of torque values for e.v.e.r.y thing on that motorcycle in the T/M, Is the torque for the rear wheel bolts the value stated in the Stelvio T/M as the "Rear Wheel 10.9 - 110Nm...?
3. - Is it ok to use the gearbox to hold the rear wheel in place while I torque the rear wheel bolts...? Should I use the brake instead...?
Thanks,
Rob
