This is a really geeky info video that shows Vasco's water drains in the opposite direction as water drains in the northern hemisphere.
You gotta have the videos synced :clock: to see it work but it is cool

Drive on the wrong side of the road. At least their sidestands are on the correct side.

Crap, where do I get one of those?
-
The simple answer is 'no!
In Australia they don't use the fill and drain method like the American style loo, so there is no possibility for coriolis to influence the spin of the fluid.
As an aside did you know the further from the equator the faster the spin, so down near the Gulf it is slower than up in Alaska, especially if it is a number 2  Magnetism, it is everywhere!
First couple couple of times I travelled to the States (first place I visited in the northern hemisphere) I was certain east was west when I couldn't see the sun
-
13,186 people, in the last 10 seconds, just flushed their toilets so they could watch which way the water goes down the drain
-
Opposite?
Pull the handle and the contents flow up and out?
Could this Coriolis Effect be influencing Rodekyll's trans? Are there any OZ parts in it? He is a lot closer to the North Pole than Italy.

Just like everything else downunda, our shit is bigger and more dangerous than yours. There is no swirling of any kind, just a graunching, raucous din of overtaxed pipes and tsunami of water attempting to push turds that would easily kill a man.
-
Would a new map help that?
-
Much bigger though, in Texas!

It all depends on if you are left handed or right handed............I mean, really, I'm right handed so my toilet swirls to the right. That way I don't have to worry about any "residue" getting in the way ! Now if you are the "other" handed you'll probably have "left-overs" ! That's what you have "down-under"........It's simple ! The Kid

Least of their worries.... (http://www.homeharmonizing.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Creepy-Carnival-Toilet-Seat-Grabber_3.jpg)
