Title: Helping a neighbor in need
Post by: Joe on June 07, 2015, 05:10:16 PM
I haven't posted much in a while since I have been really busy. I recently got even more busy because I took on a huge project helping a neighbor. He was living in a home that is not fit to be in and he was getting ready to loose it because the county was going to foreclose on it due to back taxes. I was talked into starting a go fund me page because this is really pushing the limits of my finances. I thought I would post the link to it here so hopefully people may donate a few bucks if they are able and even more importantly, share it with others. Thanks for the help!

Tip of the hat to you for helping a neighbor out. Casting a few crumbs of bread to help out.

Good luck.

What is your location?

Thank you very much for your contribution. Every bit helps a lot and spreading the word to others who may be interested helps even more. I really took on more with this project than I should have, but there were no other options for him. I am determined to make this all work out!

I am right outside Raleigh NC.

Thanks again,

Joe

There are organizations such a Habitat for Humanity and local church groups that can help.  Start by contacting lager churches in your area and asking for help and/or information.  You may end up with a swarm of young adults and retired craftsmen before you know it.
