the add photo icon feature doesn't insert the image}{image as it used to.
I see photos being inserted in some threads.
Is my problem associated with using a Mac? ... aside from Mac's Yosemite sucked my favourite photo editor right off the map without telling me it was part of the upgrade.

Are you referring to iPhoto? Did iPhoto get deleted with the last upgrade? I knew they were replacing it with "Photos", but, I thought that the old iPhoto would still be there if you already had it.
I've got Yosemite on my MacBook Air, but, not the latest, maybe 10.10.1 or 10.10.2. I guess I should archive a copy of iPhoto before upgrading.
I like Apple, but, there are many things that they do, which I don't like -- Apple Givith, Apple Taketh a way.

Aperture is no longer supported. It can be updated in US so it functions but not in Canada.
Every time I want to open it I have to go through Terminal. Pain in the___.
All my Libraries were screwed up and wouldn't open or couldn't be found. I needed up making a Giant (files dating back to early 2000's) library on my home server. wasted space, slow recall, pain in the a___.
I don't want to go to a cloud based editor because then you are truly at their mercy.

You are finding out why we ditched Dorcia's I fone and went with Android. Apple is constantly doing stuff that you didn't ask it to do. An Itunes app upgrade crashed our PC one time, and I had to jump through hoops to get it running again. She ended up with 5000 pictures on the cloud, and no idea how they got there.. needless to say, I'm not a fan.

A non-Apple data point; I just clicked Insert Image and it correctly inserted the surrounding img tags. I'm using Firefox on Windows.

Has to be a Safari/OSx issue. Just tried it again: nada.
Oh well, you folks will just miss out on my wonderful images. :)
