Have a like new 04 lemans. I torqued the heads, set the valves, tps, balance throttle bodies. Rode perfect for 2000 miles. Now if Im cruising along steadily at 3000 it cuts out or sputters for one stroke or so. I have wiggled the relays they are all tight, checked all rubber on throttle bodies, checked exhaust system all tight and right, check the tank off electrical connections etc.
Where should I look next? Is it a fuel problem or some electrical? It did get noticeable as it got into the 90s here.

What clearances did you use for the valve adjustment ?

I think 4 and 6 but cant remember. I should check that next right? May be tightening up? I bought the bike 10 years old with 1500 miles on it so its probably still breaking in.

Factory spec was .15mm intake and .20 exhaust. That's .006 and .008 inch.
I would try resetting them to the looser spec.
In my experience with the bikes, tight spec valve clearances will cause the sputter in the 2800-3200 range, and also cause random stalling at idle.

Also check to be sure the temp sensor on the inside of the right jug is tight and its mount isn't broken.

Mine did this. Very annoying. I set the valves to world spec per Guzziology with minimal improvement. Using VDST, I reset the Idle Fuel Trim to +60 from -10 and the problem disappeared. Later, Paul sent the Titanium map I'm using now. Much smoother overall and the fuel trim backed off to +30. I can get mid 40s mpg riding one gear higher and being gentle on the noise handle. Mid 30s otherwise. No stumbles.

If you suspect it's electrical strap a small 12 Volt light to the bars, ground one side and connect the other to the petcock fuse.
If the light flickers ore goes out while the bike is stuttering it's electrical for sure
Ignition switch, stand switch.
Does the bike stop when you deploy the stand?

When you say "world spec", what do you mean? If it's the old world spec for the big blocks, that's .10mm/.15mm and is on the tight side for the V11 bikes.
.15mm/.20mm is the "correct" spec for the V11 Sport/LeMans, with some people running .20mm/.25mm.
My bike popped and spit at .10mm/.15mm and when I corrected it to .15mm/.20mm, it ran much better.
