yup, recording them.

Antsey got the superbike win. W. Dunlop out for the rest of the races after a get off.

Those poor little 600's run literally flat out the whole course, 3 laps, over 100 miles, just screaming.

When I was there the section of track I was at is fairly bumpy, and those bikes were constantly stuttering as they bounced off the rev limiters as they just skimmed over the tops of those bumps. Friggin amazing.

I have to get back there some day for the kippers and bips. mmmmmmmm

Yep!! Been recording each episode and loving the racing. The sidecars were a trip. Can't wait to watch the E-Bike race.

On a related note, if you have Netflix, watch a movie called Charged. It was made by the same guy who did Faster and Fastest. It's about the first electric motorcycle race at the Isle of Mann. Excellent movie.

"Charged" - yes great movie.. well worth the watch.

Isle of Mann.. its on my bucket list.. It has been for 20 years.  You guys are lucky if you've been there in person.
I so want to go at some point in my life.  To me watching motorcycle racing on a dedicated race track is just blah compared to Isle of Mann.
That is where it really is amazing...those guys are just rock stars in their abilities, guts, etc.  I am not worthy...

Yep that's on my bucket list too. And yes charged is well worth the time to watch. This stuff will be saved on the dvr for awhile.

Honestly, the ebike race is rather boring. All you hear is a little whine go by and some chain noise. And not near at the speeds of the superbikes, and only for 1 lap.

Interesting concept but rather anti-climatic after getting knocked backwards by the wind blast from a 200mph superbike roaring by.

Yea, I didn't want to seem negative. (Never happens here I know) but I'm a big fan of internal combustion. The tech is cool but there's nothing like the sounds and smells of the real thing. In the charged movie they had to install a car burglar alarm so people wouldn't walk out in front of those bikes with no sound. It's just not right.

The only constant in life is change.  Best to have all this figured out before we need it.

I understand the need for this type of research, it is in our future I agree. Doesn't mean I have to enjoy watching it any more than I like all those ugly windmills scattered across the plains.

Whipley Huston was a good singer doesn't mean I liked her singing.

do they have special cut outs on their seats so their testies can fit. If not I don't know how they fit on the bike

So does this mean if a E bike (or car) runs over someone we are gonna need to call in the open pipe brigade . Hmm , maybe loud pipes really do save lives

Jay and I had a close encounter with an E bike at the Brookside Spring show . Kinda snuck up on us (not easy to do to an Indian) in the parking lot . Jay looked at me and said " Doesn't seem right , does it?"

  Dusty

Not just electric.  I was stopped on an exit ramp and got out to check tires on the trailer.  As I rounded the front I was about to look for traffic and a semi whoosed by.  Scared me.  No noise at all, at least not above normal traffic noise.  He was coasting up the ramp to a stop sign.  No tire noise, no engine noise, no sqeaky brakes.  All of a sudden he was just there.

I'd like to have an electric bike if they can get the range up a bit.

We are getting one race per day on Sky.

Had to laugh. With Dunlop out, Victory racing had to find another rider FAST to be able to qualify the bike.  They managed to collar Guy Martin.  He is a bit of a hoot at the best of times, and his approach in getting to grips with the electric machine really were quite funny.  I want to see them race simply to see how he goes on it,  and to hear his impressions afterwards.
