Title: STELVIO NTX LUGAGE RACK FLAW
Post by: Spuddy on June 11, 2015, 09:32:55 AM
Is it me?  Or is the plastic cover to the to the metal rack frame a POS?  It appears to have a significant design flaw as the tiny underside screw mounts ruptured from the cover - leaving it to rattle around, if not off.

Geeze, lucky I took a look.  I'd hate to loose the GIVI Treker Outback tail trunk on the up coming ride.  Let's hope I've now got the base plate is securely mounted to the frame skeleton.

Not just you.  That was the first thing I pulled off.  Needed to anyhow, since I mounted my HB trunk to the metal 'rack'.

Pulled ours off to mount a GIVI platform.

It's just a cover so it looks nice not to mount a case on, then it should go off.
