Had the V11 out on Thurs and put a couple hundred miles on, everything has great. The last hour of riding was in a pouring rain, not so great. This morning I fired the bike up and went for a short ride. After 5 miles an after a down shift I had no motive power, as if the clutch plates were hung open. Suddenly the bike took off again. A few miles later same thing but a little bit of forward motion but clearly the clutch was slipping bad. The master cylinder is returning but the clutch handle seems soft when this happens. I think the slave cylinder is hanging up ??????? Anyone have this happen or have another idea ? Not sure if the heavy rain had anything to do with it or not... Thx for the help.

DSR, similar deal on mine without the rain, got it to hook up by dropping the clutch but knew that wasn't the fix. Bled the slave a couple of times and it would work fine for a week or so. Ended up rebuilding the master cylinder with a kit from Brembo,re bled the system and been fine ever since. Was a bunch of gunk in the bleed holes in the master and o-ring on the piston had a nice flat spot not helping matters. Good Luck.

Thanks Paul, same on mine, if I dump the clutch it seemed to help also. But not always, the rain just may have been a coincidence. Thx.

Notchy hub? Fractured plate center? Bleed it first though, when was the clutch fluid last replaced?
