1115 his morning headed north on highway 67 from Comanche into Clinton Ia. Turned right/east on to highway 30. Red/silver Ev, maybe 1100. Anyone here??

Red/silver? As in the 75th Anniversary Cali?

Not sure, just a quick glimpse. Was fixated on the Moto Guzzi on the tank.

Yeah,
Pretty sure what you saw there was my friend Monte who just picked up a beautiful Red & Black 1994 California 1100i. He just bought it a few days ago and he rode up to Illowa Cycle in Clinton to show it to me. That was the time he would have been passing through there on his way to Clinton, IA from Geneseo, IL.
He really got a sweet deal on that bike in Lyndon, IL. It only has 20K or 40K miles on it. I can't remember which it was now.
I had a 1996 1100i like it that I traded at Ned's for my 2004 EV1100. The 04EV had much better injection mapping, but the 1996 had more room, especially for a passenger.

THANKS! It was beautiful. I was pulling out of Vertex when he cruised by. I tried to catch him , but he had a head start. A Mack pulling 80,000 pounds with a tanker full of caustic isn't that good of a pursuit vehicle. I was hoping he would stop at the Quick Star but he tooled into Clinton.
