Title: WTB: Swanee Aerofoil Fairing -
Post by: radguzzi on June 18, 2015, 11:44:22 AM

Anyone happen to have a Swanee Aerofoil Fairing that they are looking to sell...?

The 2001 V11 Cali that I gave to my Son-In-Law could stand a screen to aid in extending his riding season...

Yes, I know about the H & H

Thanks,
Rob

Why not the H&H? I'm thinking about one for the Jackal.

Just the price Joe, not out of the question but the H & H is spendy.  I already gave him the m/c...

If I swap out the one on the seldom used Hack for one of the Pacifico or other fairings that I have hanging around, I may give him that one...

Oh, I could get myself the H & H and give him the existing I guess...

thanks Rob. Also, I understand there needs to be some cutting on the H&H also. Someone mentioned that there are two cutouts on the Swanee (under the directionals) that need to be cut from the H&H.

I had not heard that Joe...  As I recall the Swanee has indentations in the area that you are talking about.   I'll take a look when I get home, we are taking the Grand Sons to the local Cruiser Night in the Hack.  We are helping raise a couple of gearheads, they love the old cars...

What is that about?  The air passage cutouts are above the turn signals unless it is installed upside down

I purchased a H & H from Harpers a few years back and they provided very good customer service, and the fairing worked spectacularly!

I've had nothing but good experience with Harpers. Someone at a rally mentioned the thing about cutouts, which didn't sound right to me.
