Title: Anyone ever find a close match to Guzzi Red ?

Hi All
I just picked up a red quota, where the previous owner did some interesting customizing with a paint brush.  Anyhow, I am trying to do some touch ups till i get the whole bike painted.  From what i found on some euro paint sites, the color is the same as used on the Daytona and 1100 Sport, Millie GT and Strada.

Just trying to find something close in a spray can.   Looked through the reds at the auto parts store but did not find anything close.

Guzzi Red comes in several different shades and is going to be a PITA to match . Been there, done that. The Daytona 1000 and 1100 sport red are a totally different shade of red, almost an orange-red. My Daytona RS and my Quota are a similar shade of red, but still not an  match to each other.

Find an auto parts store or body shop supply store that will match the paint for you and put it in a rattle can for spraying.

I researched the paint code on my 1100 Sport, had the color computer read with a little scanner like device, it turns out a 1997 Chevrolet pick up truck is exactally the same color.   I agree, It isn't a true red, slightly more of a orange tint.

Last year I had my LM2 resprayed. I chose VW Tornado red.
