hi all
if my cam sensor is not working what way will the bike perform and how do i test it , sensor has 3pins.

If it ain't working it will either not run at all or, if your bike has the P8 controller it may run but will die the moment you open the throttle. I think that Centy's use the 16M though.

sensor is an sen 813 bike starts runs tick over can rise to 3000 rpm and hold for a while and drop to 1500 or less back fire trough air in take and cut out or go back up to 3000 and down and back fire and stop plugs are black and sooty.

from 3 pins, one is shield, two others should have some 550-650 ohms. But it is not strange that the sensor fails. When replacing measure the depth to the tootth wheel inside. Should be the same as before . Airgap should be between 0.7 and 0.9 mm, In the centauro book they have 0.6 to 1.2mm
