Bruce McQuiston of Moto-Studio visited today. We both rode Sport 1100's through Kutztown, PA. Sounded pretty good from where I was sitting.
His Sport based build is down to 372 pounds dry. Carbon fiber fuel tank, magnesium wheels, heads by Mike Rich, 42mm carbs.
We switched bikes-- a big difference!

Wow that thing is nice!

That's purty.
What's the weight difference between his and us commoners with standard Spots?
Todd.

Money spent at Mike Rich Motorsports is money well spent. That's a nice machine !

I believe the stock Sport weighs 510 pounds dry. Sitting on his was a little like getting on my Monza. Of course there was also a big difference in horsepower.

I bet that thing rocks! Kinda like the differences in my Larios. Night and day. Can't imagine with that lightness and those heads. Eee gads.

I need to weigh mine, but I believe the carb Sport 1100 was listed at 485-lbs dry.
