Title: selling tractor on ebay ngc
Post by: gearman on July 01, 2015, 01:07:54 PM
I am thinking of selling a tractor on ebay and have read all the info I can. They really try to force you to use Pay Pal at a rate of almost 3%. On a $7000  sale that would be $270.They say I need to use the advanced selling part if I want another form of payment but don't tell me how. Getting a check would be fine with me.Any one here have my problem?

I sold my John Deere on Craigslist.

If the price is right people will come to see it.

I have used paypal for ebay but I'm not real fond of it.  You have the ebay fee, then the paypal fee then payment takes a long time to get.

I've also sold equipment on Craigslist that traveled across the US.  Electronic payment was made when loaded on the semi.  If the payment wasn't received shortly I figured on calling the cops and reporting the theft.
