Can anyone tell me where the oil filter on a Breva 750 is located? Do I have to drop the oil pan to access the filter? I'm new to the Breva and have changed oil, but could not find the filter. Thanks for any info. Jürgen

There is a small circular plate that has to be removed from the bottom of the oil pan that will give you access to the filter.

And there are two drain bolts on the pan; one on the very front of the pan and the other is on the rear.

Accessible from underneath at the front

Ditto that.
Remember the filter goes in with the attached spring pointing down.
Beware of over-torquing the long center bolt that holds the circular plate and filter in place.
I have a torque wrench but in this case I think that "snug" by a hand wrench is adequate on that easy to strip bolt. We're not tightening lug nuts on the school bus here.
If the circular plate weeps a little oil film after riding a while then you can tweak the center bolt a bit more but go easy.
Remember that both oil plugs and the oil filter bolt have crush washers that need to be replaced - at least every other oil change. There are also o-rings associated with the oil filter, the circular plate, and the dipstick. These are not included with the oil filter and have to be requested separately.

Thanks everyone! I'll do the oil change correctly next time w/filter. Jürgen
