Rode out to the Congaree National Park today having many back roads to myself. Decided to take the slab back home and it was not bad for 40 miles. Approaching an entrace ramp some ass decides to pass a little ol' lady doing a little less than the speed limit at the merge point. In a second mass pandemonium, hard swerving, tires squealing and racing heart beat. I went from 70 to 30 in seconds and thought I was going to be hit by an SUV behind me. Slow down, live long, show a little courtesy on the road. Is one car length worth a lifetime of regret?

No. I see it all the time in the Seattle area. Someone will make 4 lane changes to gain 1 car length.
My opinion is this:What is the most dangerous thing you can do on the freeways?
Answer: change lanes.
Followed closely by: tailgating.
