This Sat will be the 10th Annual Christmas in July benefit for the childrens home in Kaufman. We'll meet at the BlackSheep clubhouse in Kaufman and have an escorted ride to Kaufman (30 miles).
You can get more info by going to TMRA Facebook or Guzzi Riders in Texas facebook
Yes, it will be hot but the kids will greet you with towels that have been soaked in ice water. KOOL!
This is my favorite charity as you get to see where your money is going. You can stop and visit the home at any time. Having a wonderful mom and dad, I can't imagine what it is like not to have a home cooked meal, dirty clothes, being abandoned, constant fighting, drugs etc in the house.
Cloudbase riders up from Houston so lets see a big gaggle of Guzzis there.
Thanks,
Texas Turnip

I can't make this one as my grandniece is getting hitched in the afternoon.
As Tex said, it's a great cause, and the kids are great. You'll get fed and watered, and Tex usually has some lagniappe to give away.

The A Fern Norville Home takes in children from birth to 18 and they don't separate families. They have a full time nurse on staff so they are able to take in injured kids too. The State cuts back on their funding every year, so the Home has to try to raise the rest of the money they need. Churches and other local groups help, but like Tex said, this motorcycle event raises the most money. Come if you can. You can meet us at the home on your bike or in your car at 4090 S Houston, Kaufman, TX. Bring $20 to register (this all goes to the home) and any additional money you want to donate. If you can't come, you can send a check to: PO Box 926, Kaufman, TX 75142. Their phone number is: 972-932-4896.
