Title: help uploading map wi Guzzidiag
Post by: boatdetective on July 11, 2015, 01:39:37 PM
Hello-  So I have IAW 15 writer v. 2.6 open-
- I click to browse for my new map
-my file directory pops up
-I click on the file folder with my Guzzidiag stuff and other maps
...and no files pop up when I click on the folder.  Nada- zip. I have at least three .bin files in there

Any guesses?

BTW- I only have COM3 popping up as a selection for input ports.

You need the IAW5xWriter. 07 Sport has a 5AM ECU.  :thumb:

15x writer won't see 5AM maps. They are a different size.

thanks Beetle- I kindov figured it out on my own with the other writer. I loaded the map you sent me. BTW, the file you sent is "Sport FU2-4V-E3F2.2015.01.15.bin".  My bike is a 2V- is your map for the 4V Breva Sport?

I reset the TPS. It will only reset to  4.8. I reset the auto learning function. I alo removed tte "O2 Opimizer" he bike now has a problem dying at itle (sometimes) and pops on the decel.

Any ideas?

No, that's a 2V map.  4.8 TPS is fine.  Try adjusting CO trim to +3 or +5.

Also have you re-set the self learning parameters? If not, do so.

Yes sir. Thanks.
It has taken me a bit, but on the whole I'm a believer that the pretty basic injection system on these bikes is worlds easier to deal with than carbs (I know- heresy to the suspenders crowd)

I always use the reader first to read the current map and set aside the original bin file. It is a good idea in case you need to restore it. That also give you a good feeling that the communications is solid, before doing the write.
