Here she is. Bone stock. Sounds great between 4-5000 rpm at part throttle.

Looks good. Welcome to the fold.

Nice!

Beautiful! Congrats, and enjoy!
-
Love those red valve covers! Looks like the owner had an MGNOC sticker on there on the windscreen.
I wonder if those valve covers were ordered from Guzzi or specially prepped by the prior owner?
Hope you got the deal you were looking for!
-
Beautiful and congrats, Norges are the best.
-
O.K. now you've done it.
Now your gonna start thinking of 10w60, carc and trans oils, red line, mobil 1.....Tires.

Great-looking bike, congratulations!
It should have a little company, though!

Brio- Welcome to the club and nice bike. I noticed the Florida tags on your vehicles. Hopefully you will be able to attend the Guzzi Beach Bash in Melbourne Beach, Fl. on August 8th. Nice maiden voyage on your new ride and great way to meet fellow fanatics. If you don't mind me asking, are you located anywhere near the Tampa Bay area as several of us are planning to ride over for the Bash.
-
EXCELSIOR!
-
you deff got the fastest color
to whoever asked, the valve covers & brake calibers were done by P/O
-
Thanks! Nicely done on the valve covers, do you think that was a special heat paint or does it look powder coated do you think?
-
Thank you all!
The PO said the valve covers and brake calipers were a factory option. I live on the treasure coast and would love to ride with some fellow Guzzista's. However, I'll be returning from a trip to Europe around the 8th so it might be difficult to attend the bash.
Ken Farr, I'm already obsessed! I need to find a copy of Guzziology...
Thanks again!

Nice Norge.
Nice back side of a Ferrari too. At least it sure looks like one.
-
The Ferrari belongs to the PO. I used the sales photos off craigslist since I don't have a photobucket account yet. My stable is quite humble by comparison. I have a KLR, a Buick Regal Turbo, and a MB SLK in addition to the Guzzi. One day maybe.
I just finished looking though the owners manual. I felt it was written by a lawyer with very little useful info. I was looking into getting Guzziology but thought that might not be applicable to a newer Guzzi. What do you guys think?

Like my ex-wife said: "You'll kill yourself on that damned thing"!!!!!!

That's a beauty! Have a good time! :thumb:

Truthfully you will not find any Norge/Breva/Sport 1200 info in guzziology to amount to much. Better bet would be find a pdf of the shop manual and download that. Guzziology is great and all guzzisti should own it.. But for a Norge, you can find all the info you need here or in the service manual.
-
Congratulations!!!
Looks like you found the sweet spot for the engine. You'll find that the real one is any time the engine is running. The Norge is underrated and misunderstood by many, their loss, our gain.
As for the fastest color, it is the one being ridden, black, white, wine or any other color that happens to grace them. You've joined an exclusive gathering, welcome.

I now use Smugmug.. Photobucket has issues some of the time.
