Title: Need help

I'm the process of replacing the rear tire I took the final drive unit off my Breva 750. The double splined coupling between the driveshaft and pinion gear fell off and I noticed one end of it is slightly deeper than the other. Can anyone tell me which end points where?

Answered my own question.
The little disc was stuck inside the collar which made it seem non- symmetrical.

As a side note clean everything up and apply spline lube on all the splines before re-assembly.
