Title: Fitting 120/70 - 17 Michelin to front of '04 Breva 750
Post by: M0T0Geezer on July 19, 2015, 10:07:47 AM
In this WG thread http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=72601.0 (http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=72601.0) motoguzziman says that a Michelin Pilot Activ rear tire gave him 14,000 miles (nothing mentioned about MPA in front).  Trouble is, MPAs for front only come in 120/70 - 17 size.  Stock Breva tire is 110/70 - 17

In that same thread, ratguzzi said that mounting an Avon 120/70 - 17 to his Breva required modifications to the front fender mounts to fit.

It seems that the difference from stock 110/70 - 17 to MPA 120/70 - 17  should clear the stock fender OK

Has anyone successfully here mounted a Michelin Pilot Activ 120/70 - 17 front tire on their Breva 750 without modification to the bike?

Thanks

'Geezer

I run a Kenda cruiser/st front 110/70-17 tire on my 750 Breva and it's good for 14K miles. Not only that I like it so much I also run it on my MuZ 660 single, the best handling bike I own.  :thumb:  If you put a 120/70 front tire on your Breva it will mess up your handling.  :thewife:
