Beauty grows daily on this machine.
Besides removing the stickers, (I used the hot, wet, wash cloth method... which works great), I've had to play with the right side mirror which moves around a lot. After taking it apart, I just wrapped plumbers tape around the bottom of the post to give it more girth... seems to be working ok.
just a couple hundred miles to go to the 600 mile service. I'm contemplating doing it myself although a perfectly good dealer is in town. I will need to pick up a few tools and remember how to use the torque wrench, lol. But the instructions past posts provide are fantastic and make it possible for non-mechanics to work on this pretty little bike.

Yes, it popped off on the way home from the dealer on the day I bought it! I felt something hit my right knee, looked down and noticed the cover had blown off... pulled over, walked down the side of the highway and found it... with broken tab, the ones that hold it in place. No problem with the spark plug or wire, just the plastic cover. I called the dealer and they ordered another, though haven't heard from them in a week.

No, not England though that might be pretty cool. Great biker community from what I've read here and on other forums. I'm in San Diego, California... many of the condominiums in San Diego have a Euro or Mediterranean vibe to them. Never been to England but have driven around Germany, Netherlands, Czech R... love Europe but have yet to visit the England, Wales, Scotland, etc. Its definitely on my short list.

Congratulations & well done! Only a couple of hundred to go? Only a day or two then. Personally, I'd be tempted to have the first service done the the (authorised) shop, if for no other reason than they know what to look for. I did with the V7C, but then I changed the engine oil and filter at 20 miles anyway (as soon as I got home) - there was debris on the magnets & discolouration in the oil. In those days the factory was supposed to be running the motor in a little.
Best of luck. You are going to have a ball.

Just checked the mail the there it was! Thank you Paul Dima from GP Motorcycles for taking personal interest in the care of my bike!

Sweet bike!
Nice courtyard, too.
Add some aftermarket pipes & you could literally wake up the entire neighborhood with an anti-social crack of the throttle.

Congrats!!!

There are a couple crotchety types that would not take kindly to loud pipes... wait, I am a crotchety old man!
