I've never done it, but I'm pretty sure a 16M is a 16M.. Shirley someone that knows will be along shortly. (Subtle bump)

Don't know enough about the 16M but as long as the pin out is the same I can't see any problem.

Got a 16M from a Ducati with a Will Creedon chip in my Sport 1100, works fine.

Hey Doug

i have a creedon s2 chip it was in last ecu and could not get rid of flat spot or miss at 3800 rpm now that origonal ecu is f***ed

due to battery fault i am hoping that the problem will go too.

I had a few areas where I'd get flat spots or misfiring and the tickover was very erratic. I made sure the tappets were correct, put in a new Valtec type chain tensioner, new rubber manifolds, tightened exhaust header clamps and did a TPS/TB reset/balance as per the book. It's still not perfect but it's not too far away, I can put up with the odd hiccup as other than that it goes like the clappers.

I also built up a Cliff Jeffries MyEcu to replace the 16M altogether and with that I can experiment with different maps but that's more of a work in progress at the moment.
