Iam seeking any interested riders here in Australia land who may want to do a run to Darwin. International visitors very welcome. Don't have a time frame in mind, def not in the Wet season though.A Guzzi group would be great to display our bikes on tour. This trip would be over 10 -14 days staying in motels, caravan parks . I have done this ride before on THE LONG RIDE for Prostate cancer in 2010. Anyway I will throw it out there and see if we can get a group together. Ian

Another group I participate in, the Motorcycle Tourers' Forum on Delphi, has a number of members (sadly, most are not MG riders )
Post there and you may find some takers... See http://forums.delphiforums.com/mctourer/messages (http://forums.delphiforums.com/mctourer/messages)

Yeah sorry guys, departure point Adelaide Sth Aust.

 sounds like fun. Probably more of a Mana trip than a Griso trip but we'll see. At this particular point in time I am not financially able to commit to such an undertaking but timeframe is important and I'd love to be part of it, especially if it's for a good cause.

I would be interested. The Norge needs a decent run. I would be interest in the time frame so I can start saving some pennies and annoying my wife.

We are fast running out of the Dry, aren't we? When does the Wet start up again?

Pleeeze, can't he be forgiven? The poor fellow is, after all, from Adelaide & probably still uses Sunlight soap - remember that taste? And probably prefers Promite over Vegemite. We may just have to make allowances. And he's proposing a decent run.

Hey thanks Malik, good to see I have back up. Pete may forgive me. Not all churches and Farmers Union iced coffee here though. Great to hear you may be interested on the ride. See if a couple of mates might come too. I'm off for a ride, must be crazy, 10 degrees here. Ian

10C - positively balmy - if you've heated liners. Hope the skies are as clear there as they are over here. Great riding weather. Catch up with me when I'm in Adelaide at the beginning of next month (check with the Frats) - I'll have a map with me. I fancy trying the Eyre Peninsular some day, tho' not this trip unfortunately, only time enough for the Flinders Ranges & a little of the Hills.

I always had a suspicion that the Aussie tough-guy image was a mask. I lived and rode in western Canada for many, many years, and 10* C was a nice spring day - or summer morning! Ride till there's ice on the streets, and start again as soon as the sweepers pick up the winter gravel

We're expecting -5*C here tomorrow morning! Positively balmy!
