Just purchased a 2014 Honda CB1100 DLX. I will pick it up next Fri or Sat.
Will be keeping the V7C and I will be selling the 2012 BMW R1200R

Sweet...
But why sell the R12? Doesn't seem to be a lot of overlap to me?
-
That's a good looking motorcycle. It has the classic look of the 70's Hondas, Kawasakis, etc.

I just don't need three bikes.

Good on you! THE CB 11's are great riders. Congratulations

Sweet! You can join the rest of us over at: http://cb1100forum.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=2
I have the 2012 version. Kinda like a nice Buick or Ford Thunderbird compared to the wild Griso. Wonderful in town, not bad on the open road (I still prefer the Griso for that).
Samurider.com is a great place to get farkles for it. I think you'll really enjoy it.

I hear ya. We all have our own limits.
Three seems to be mine. I can make four work, but it starts to become work...

I'd really like to get down to two. Keeping the 650L because I have too much money into it, need to get some return on it. Otherwise I keep it because I must like being abused. When it's running I really enjoy the big thumper. Keeping her happy is worse than being married to a princess. :p

Three is my sweet spot too. Antique (Ambassador LAPD) Heavyweight (Goldwing F6B) and runabout (BMW R-nine-T)
I considered the CB1100 for awhile but the desire passed with time. Dealers are selling with some nice discounts lately.

I sit on the one at MR Motorcycle every time I go in there... Neat bike, I already have an 1100cc naked bike tho... I do like it. I hope you enjoy it.

Sweet bike with a nice sounding engine, congratulations.
-
Very nice.I saw a black standard model last week, I prefer the red deluxe.. My wife who really doesn't care that much about bikes thought it looked great and said It would be a nice addition to my Stelvio, I completely agree. A proper motorbike as a Brit friend of mine would say.

Bravo!

I thought the Griso would be surplus and sold off once I got the CB. No such luck. They are very different bikes. So if you feel like taking a risk, take one for a test ride.

Congrats!
I really like the CB1100. I'd like to get one and do this to it: http://planetjapanblog.blogspot.com/2014/08/honda-cb-1100-ex-by-white-house-japan.html (http://planetjapanblog.blogspot.com/2014/08/honda-cb-1100-ex-by-white-house-japan.html)

Now if you really get froggy, you can get a set of the 4 into 4 pipes for it.

Pete,
That is one fine Honda, enjoy!
Four into four pipes are pure, hard core motorcycle porn. Whew.
