Title: Clutch lever

Post by: JeffOlson on August 10, 2015, 04:20:55 PM: I have one, but it is bent. (I wonder how that happened? :undecided:). However, I should probably hang onto it for when my Norge decides to take another nap at some point; the bent one may be in better shape that the currently straight one.

I looked online for an after-market alternative, but was not successful. I am curious, though: are there no after-market alternatives?

(I imagine the problem is not the lever itself but the fiddly and temperamental plunger that is attached to the lever that can wreak havoc if not adjusted exactly right...)

Don't care what condition the lever is, just need the plunger shaft and pivot post.

You might also have to buy another barrel as that one doesn't have the tang for the switch.

That's how I found out what fits my V11 (several Ducatis use the same). MotoMummy had a good price, but not as cheap as the knock-offs. I got shorty Pazzos for about 25% off - but the FPs look nice too.

Post by: Mayor_of_BBQ on August 16, 2015, 12:21:55 PM: if you get a replacement put some heat on that before you try to take it out.... I laid mine on the stove burner with just the brass part touching the coil and got it hot then cooled and it came out easy... also don't overlook the set screw!

don't forget Reboot Guzzi, MG classics, moto international, Harpers, etc..... Or try calling some larger dealers like Rose Farm, Rider's Hill, MPH,etc

Perhaps some Duc or Aprillia parts places if you can figure out what model clutch master it is...

There is a method to their madness. If you adjust the plunger and don't leave the right amount of clearance it is the equivalent of "riding the clutch". It gets hot and hot is bad for clutches...

They think riders and service techs are idiots and the lawyers said: "Can you make it nearly impossible to adjust?" Yes we can!
