Fair price for this?

Pretty fair to me with 4k miles. It's CLEAN and has lots of miles in it.

I'd say it's not too far out of line considering the muffler, new tires, and really low mileage. I'd prefer an Ohlins bike, though.. for the same or not much more money.

For this bike from a dealer it is a good price. Carbon pipes, cross-over, carbon fender and appears like new. It would be nice to have the OEM mufflers, cross-over and fender. Great way to get into a like new V11 if you missed the first time around back in 2002!
I recently bought a one owner 2003 LeMans with 3175 miles that was 100% stock with a Ti kit still in the box and some carbon body pieces for similar money. I'm making up for missing out on these bikes back in 2002-03.

I think it would be a steal at that price if the mileage was correct.
Less than 500 miles per year, really?
Could it be on it's second Veglia?
I would be looking at the gauges closely for signs of faded or miss matched needles.

This is so weird. I just bought that same (except for VIN#) bike and brought it home Saturday! :bike-037:
Same bike, just like new, same mileage, same CF cans, new tires....exactly the same. I had to do several double takes at the ad to make sure it wasn't my bike. And we both live in Longmont, it is cosmic I tell you! I paid $5000 from a private seller and mine came with the stock cans in a box. It's a fantastic bike, really awesome, and even without the Ohlins the best handling bike I have ever ridden.

Oh, yeah.. the stock suspension isn't chopped liver.

$5499 at the dealer is just begging for a $5000 cash offer, face to face, money in hand.

So Alan, you sold the Griso?

Yes, and think I have a buyer (deposit has been made).

Good news. Good luck with the V11. And thanks, all, for the feedback on the east coast bike. I have an old friend in NYC who may grab it.
