I did buy it, it's sitting in my driveway waiting to be parted out.
-
Has it been used as a boat anchor?
-
Lots of good parts there! Should be able to double your $$ easily.
-
that'll buff out in a jiffy!

Hey Guzziownr:
I'll buy that side cover, just to hang on my wall as an Object d'art.
If your interested, let me know......I don't know why, but I am serious.

All yours Ken, P.M. me your street address. That metal is "wafer thin" but patina, what patina!

Is that actually a bird's nest in there?

Mouse/squirrel, the wiring is chewed to pieces.
-
Oh wow! "café" that puppy out
-
Love it! Question though, 99% complete what? Lol
-
Hard to get hurt at $375 for that. Did you offer them $100? :) (Guzzi content)
-
Hopr your Tetnus shot is current before you start pulling it apart!

I threw the fairing, seat and tank on the p.o.'s trash pile as they were the homeopathic version of guzzi parts. Look where the mufflers used to be. They were never removed, they just atomized.

I've paid more for less, the rims look good and the frame is probably pretty solid after a good sandblasting. If it isn't rotten, it would make a fun project for (me) or a vocational school. Heck, if you pick it up, I might be interested in the rear rim/swingarm/disc setup to convert my 850T drum :)

Shorty pipes!
Wixoms are going for a pretty penny these days. Hopefully they're solid?

There's one on Birmingham al Craig's list in better condition for 200
-
My Eldorado looked worse than that, the heads were off for 15 years.
-
The rusted-away metal alone means it's less than 99% complete, even if the part is still bolted to the bike!
Sounds like it's the kind of "99% complete" that my computer tells me when it's loading something. Takes 30 seconds to get to "99% complete", then sits there for 4 minutes finishing that last "1%" .... !

Nah, It's dried kelp.
I wonder - does it have chrome bores? Wouldn't want that headache!
Todd.

99% complete means it was owned by a 1%er.
-
Virtual knuckle-bump, that's a bike you don't feel even a little bad about parting out.

Don't know where he gets "1974" when it plainly says Jan. '71 on the VIN plate. Good deal for $200.

Wow. That's $25 more than I paid for my Eldo in 1979, with a smashed crash bar and some rust in the tank.
That would be fun to get running REALLY WELL and keep ALL the cosmetics just the way it is.

Mark at MGC did just that with tetanus. He said it was a hoot to pull up in a bike show, park in next to some 40000 dollar hawg, leave it running and walk away. There'd be an instant crowd around it paying no attention to the "show" bike..
