Lowryter and I took an amazingly fun ride on some back roads East of OKC today . Probably only 60 miles total , but some of it was in a really cool old neighborhood ending in a great outdoor space with lots of shade and fun young folks . Sorry . no pics , unless John snuck some in . Fun way to spend a few hours , Thanks John .
Oh , no other riders overtook us , and lots were out , hard to beat a well ridden old Tonti with old geezers at the controls .

Absolutely. Geezers are 15 years older than you are, no matter how old you are. :)

Hey now, I turned 60 today. Can I now join the old geezers' club? The dirty old man club?

Nope .... you're still too young!

What? there's no place to ride in Oklahomie! Nothing but dust, armadillos and wind! Oh, and rattlers!
-
Dusty,
I saw a live armadillo on my bicycle ride last Wednesday, does that count?
Glad you had fun!

Ahh the rare "live" armadillo sighting . Amazingly , we saw none of our walking tank buddies , there was a dead skunk in the middle of the road .

dunno ya'lls proclivity towards music and such...but this reminds me of a lyric written by a young Okie from Bearden. Kid named John Fullbright. I'm a fan.
Central Oklahoma is my land, it's my country,
Eastern Oklahoma is a beautiful sight.
Northern Oklahoma might as well be Kansas,
Never go to Southern Oklahoma at night.
glad you had some fun.
