Title: WTB Valeo starter north Nashville, TN
Post by: ratguzzi on August 19, 2015, 09:33:45 AM
I am currently working in north Nashville for a couple weeks and my EV powered 75T starter is starting to act up. I need to tap it now and then to get it to go, most likely dirty contacts somewhere in the solenoid or starter brushes. No time to mess with it.
Anyone in the area have one? I could get pulled from the job at any time or I would simply have one shipped to me here.

They're scarce.  I tried to get one used and had no luck.  then I tried a clone and it went down after a few spins.  I endeed up buying from that euromotors or eurolectric or somesuch -- the place they get the upgraded alternators.

I think this is the company rodekyll is talking about. http://www.euromotoelectrics.com/ I got my starter for my V11 EV from them. JB I am sure you could have one overnighted to you. Any old school alternator/starter rebuilders by you?

Yes, that's them.  I'm on the road and couldn't refer to the invoice.  Theirs was the best price I could find, shipping was reasonable, and delivery was fast.

I'll drop one to you if you have an address. Return one when you can or we'll work something out.
