Title: My answer to mirrors too narrow.
Post by: Grigio Motociclista on August 21, 2015, 05:33:04 PM
Just wanted to post a couple of pics of some replacement mirror stems I had the local machine shop make up for me.

I wanted to move the mirrors out about an inch but keep the original angle.

They ordered in some stainless steel 12mm stock, necked it down to 10mm and threaded to 1.25.

I'm very pleased with how it turned out and wanted to share in case anyone else had considered but wanted a peek first.

Not a bad solution. :thumb:

I would like the Breva mirrors to stick out just that little bit extra.  At the moment it is either head movement or body movement required to get a good unobstructed view.

Would probably move the turbulence out a bit.

Without a windshield I'll probably never be able to tell.
