Out riding today and notice the red triangle warning light coming on and going off. Stopped and now I'm seeing oil on the ground, red triangle light stays on, and the oil can is on the screen. I left it there and going to get the trailer to haul it home. The leak looks like it's fairly high to the inside of the left cylinder. I bought the bike new in March of 2014 so the warranty should be active. Does this sound like a blown head gasket? Any info appreciated!

My new 2014 Norge developed a leak right after I bought it. I thought the same thing, head gasket. Took off the plastic shroud(three screws), there's a breather plate under there up high on the back of the cylinder, held in place by two screws. That's where mine was leaking from. Ordered a few o-rings for it and replaced it myself. The original had a nick in it where it had been pinched during assembly.Easy job. You might check there first. Good luck.

Most likely the oil pressure sender switch has failed. It's deep in the valley and requires removal of the tank and airbox to get to.

What he said... It's a known issue, and one your dealer is likely used to replacing under warranty. Bummer that it happened to you, but good to get it sorted early. Kind of like chicken pox. Glad it didn't result in your dumping the bike...or worse...

Samfrank, My Norge 2011 blew the oil pressure sensor at 13k, same symptoms except couldn't go further due to oil on rear tyre and maybe engine seizure. The dealer fitted a factory upgrade sensor. Different thread, with adaptor into the block. About $30. I carry a spare one under the seat. Ian
