Title: Does the Stelvio have any sort of shock protection for the drive train?
Post by: bad Chad on August 23, 2015, 04:34:51 PM
Almost all modern Guzzi have had cush drives and such for longevity of the drive system.  The CARC bikes use some type of system on most, but a buddy who has a Stelvio said that his bike had no such drive cushion, and he was a little worried about the effect on his clutch over time?

I'm thinking long term, but my next Guzzi is likely to be a Stelvio, and am wondering.

The driveshaft has a bonded rubber Cush incorporated in it, there are also springs in the clutch plate centre that act as a driveline shock absorber.
