Took a couple of days off work last week for a midweek run up to Applecross in the NW of Scotland to meet up with some friends doing a Scottish tour, 2 Irishmen and an American buddy. Because of a accident the road was closed just as I could smell the beer, a 140 mile detour to get past the accident. I was on the T3 so not too much of a chore

Just at the point the road was blocked!

How interesting!
At the risk of sacrilege, I've sometimes thought of the T3 as being a comparable motorcycle to the Vincent twin in its mission and configuration. Long and low, good for highways, similar claimed top speed, etc. So, how did the Vincents stack up to your T3? I assume you didn't do any top speed tests, but what was your impression? Did you get to try one yourself?
Inquiring minds want to know....

Boy howdy, you were in some rare high-class company THERE! I (like almost everyone else I'll wager) was thinking you were plonking along behind some ... other .... V-twins.
I too would love to hear how things are working out, riding a lovely Guzzi along with a pair of Vincents!
